Welcome

I must admit I’ve never really seen the need to blog until recently. I certainly don’t need one more thing to do in a day; what with work, school, and kids (especially my two). But I am starting to realize that every moment with the people I love is precious, and I want to remember and share as much of that joy as I can. Bailey and Emi are more than a handful, but they bring me great joy, and I have been told by more than a few people that they are little rays of sunshine. I hope they always have the innocence and beautiful spirit—the thirst for knowledge and love of humanity—that they do right now. A teacher told me at school last week that she adored my girls because they always had a smile, a hug, and something positive and uplifting to say to all who cross their paths. As a mother, what could be a better compliment? Especially when I know that there are days I feel I have NOTHING positive to say (as sad as that is to admit). As many times as I have heard the words “your girls should work at Disney World”, I have heard an equal number of “your girls are hilarious!”. With all the “funnies” that I witness or hear about on a daily basis, what better way to share a smile or laugh than to blog about it? I totally stole this idea from Tracy, but we all know my blog will never be as organized or up-to-date as hers. But what I hope to do is share pictures, little updates, stories, and knowing my girls—quite possibly a “quote of the day”. Thanks for stopping by!
